About Me

Hi, I am Sushmita or like everyone else calls me, Sush.  A 22-year-old Indian who loves to write and ramble. I grow older every year on the 7th day of the 2nd month. I have completed my years in University and am currently working in the real world. And I wish every day that Uni life would just come back to me again.

My favorite pass time includes singing with my earphones on, I like to add in a few dance moves in the mix as well. I am a passionate reader and a notebook hoarder! I have more notebooks than I really need, to be very honest. I consider myself a writer but I am not sure how good I am at it.

I have a crazy work and blog life to balance so please do not abandon me if you do not see any posts from me for a short period.

For years, I have been wanting to start a blog and never found the courage to do so. But I have an unflinching love for writing and that is what made me create Fervently Curious. Curiosity has always been a huge part of my life. It has put me in loads of trouble but has also taught me a lot of things I wouldn’t have learned otherwise.

This is a place for me to share this curiosity with anyone who is interested. A platform to share things I deeply love and care about. You will find stuff about the books I am reading, the places I have traveled to, my ambitions and struggles in life. I have so much more to learn in life and everything I learn will find a place in my corner of the internet.

Stick around and you never know what would spark your curiosity! If you do please do subscribe or leave a comment! I would love to know your views and opinions about the things I post.

  1. I’m so glad you got the courage to start a blog! Sometimes it can seem difficult to pour your thoughts out onto the internet, but I can easily say blogging is one of the best things I have ever done. It gives me people to talk about books to (which I can’t really do in real life) and I have chatted with so many amazing people from all over the planet. The internet is truly an amazing thing. 🙂

I wish you the best of luck on your blogging journey!

    1. Thank you so much Becky! It’s tough to write down my thoughts for everyone to see but it’s an experience worth having. I am hoping I too will find a place for myself in this community.

  2. Hey there Sushmita! Just clicking around the blogosphere and commenting on blogs that I think are fun and interesting, and you’re one of them. October is my birthday month, so consider this an invitation to my month-long birthday party. Hope to see you over at That’s So Jacob sometime!
